Tint Removal

How to remove window tint from car windows?

Bubbled Rear Window Tint

That’s an often asked question. There is no easy way around it. It has to be physically removed by peeling it off. That’s easier said than done, though. It’s a job that you can do. But, if you are really not up to the task, believe me, I under- stand, you can call me to do it for you. For the brave hearted ones, here’s a couple of quick videos to demonstrate it for you.

Happy stripping! :)

This next one, you might want to turn your volume down, or off.
There are no instructions, just music in the background.

Hopefully it will turn out like this when it’s retinted! imag0241
This car was fully stripped and retinted by me. If you only remove the old fim, but leave it at that, it will, obviously be clear. Let me stress, that although removing tint can be relatively easy, if it’s left for way too long, like this red car, the tint will be so badly deteriorated, that it will not respond to heat from a steamer or anything. If it’s as bad looking as this car, it’s better to let the professionals do it.
It will probably cost you around the $100 mark. An accurate quote is difficult without seeing it first. Even then, it can be uncertain as to how hard it will be. You don’t actually know until you start.
