Homes

One of the best improvements you can do to your home is to tint the windows. Window tinting home windows will do so much for it. The list of benefits is quite impressive. I will give a points list below, but I just want to highlight a little known fact.

Window tinting is one of the earliest forms of GREEN technology.

In the days before GST was introduced, window tint films were exempt sales tax. This was a way that the government could give incentives to people to have it applied. There may not be a rebate, but the benefits will still help pay for the product. Any energy conservation these days is a valuable asset. The household budget is constantly being squeezed ever tighter. This is a good reason to have it installed as soon as possible.

Let me explain. If the tint reduces heat gain into the house, it will make it less necessary to turn on the Air Conditioner. If you use less A/C,  you use less electricity. You pay smaller electricity bills.

The film stops in excess of 99% UV rays, therefore reduces furnishings damage. I have seen so many carpets rotted away just under the window. Wooden floors faded to pale colour, and cracked from over exposure. Back and tops of longs virtually destroyed by the UV. Only you know the value these inclusions to your home, and the price it will cost to replace.

And, right now is the right time to get tinting done for your home. Why? Because, due to the strong Australian Dollar, the product is as cheap as it has ever been. It may seem expensive, at first glance, but I can tell you, the prices that are being quoted these days are less than they were ten years ago.
